The 2019 Fame City Festival & Success Conference will take place Saturday, Aug 3rd through Sunday Aug 4 at the Courtyard by Marriott in N. Canton, OH. The Fame City Festival & Success Conference is a convergence for all who thrive in the music and media content space.
Are you ready? Join us as we celebrate the 1st Annual Fame City Festival this coming HOF weekend. Grammy Award and Nominated Artists 112, Jon B and The School Boyz will headline the Throwback to the 90s Block Party on Aug 3rd 2019.
Celebrating its 1st year in 2019, the Fame City Music Festival presents the Throwback to the 90’s Block Party featuring Grammy Award winning artists 112 formally on Bad Boy Records as the Headline Act. They had great success in the late 1990s and early 2000s with hits such as “Only You”, “Anywhere”, “Cupid” and Grammy award nominated single “Peaches & Cream”. The Debut Album 112 released in 1996 sold over 2 million copies.
Singer, songwriter, and record producer Jon B will be the Support Act performer. In 1995 he released his debut album “Bonafied”. The album spawned the popular hit and Grammy- nominated single “Someone to Love” which featured the Grammy Award-winning artist Babyface. The Album was a commercial success and went platinum selling over 1 million copies. He is also well known for the top 10 Single “They Don’t Know” and top 20 hit “Are you Still Down” Featuring 2Pac.
Lastly, the local Canton, Ohio legendary R&B / Hip-Hop group “The School Boyz” featuring artists T~Rev, Ta Smallz, and Antoine Carter will be the Co-Headline Act performer for the concert, performing a medley of their current and 90s hits that secured their 1st major record deal with Island Records. Grammy and Billboard music award-winning American singer-songwriter, record producer, and American entrepreneur Joe Little of the Rude Boys has been invited as a special guest to perform and appease his home town fans.
The event will be hosted by JT Turk, an on-air personality with WHBC Mix 94.1 FM, and DJ KOB will be spinning the 1's and 2's. Celebrity guest appearances and VIP Sections are available to best view and enjoy the concert with friends. Concert kicks off at 7pm!
